Recently ranked #2 in North America by World's 50 Best Superbueno is living up to its name! This is a unique opportunity to join our team as Chef de Cuisine specializing in creative Mexican cuisine. As Chef de Cuisine, you will report directly to the Director of Culinary Operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, staff management, and ensuring exceptional quality and consistency.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Lead and manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management. Develop innovative and creative menus that align with the concept and vision of the property. Oversee food preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes, quality standards, and food safety regulations. Maintain inventory levels and control food costs through effective purchasing and waste management. Collaborate with the management team to create seasonal specials and promotions. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth among kitchen staff. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met in the kitchen at all times. Stay updated on industry trends and developments, incorporating new techniques and ingredients into menu offerings. Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction. Handle any kitchen-related issues or concerns promptly and effectively. Requirements: Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Passion for culinary excellence, with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute innovative menus. In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be legally eligible to work in the specified location.
